Well, if you want a scale that makes sense, try specifying your
temperatures in Kelvin. The freezing and boiling points of water is
just SO artificial--you need pure water, you have to be careful not
to supercool or superheat it, it has to be at a specific atmospheric
pressure, etc.
0 degrees K, now there's something we all can agree on!
