I thought a CI coupler was mostly a transformer. If
so, would a CI network
not behave much like a bus, even if it didn't look like one? A lot more like
a bus I would have thought than modern ethernet which neither looks nor
behaves like a bus.
I know nothing about CI, so I can't comment on that, but who said
anything about 'modern ethernet'? Classic ethernet, on coaxial cable, is
a bus.
