There do exist some very visible DUMB and/or ignorant
people.
One of the more severe examples I've heard was (supposedly) some
politician in the US South, who (is supposed to have) said, speaking of
English as a language for immigrants to learn, that "if it was good
enough for Our Lord Jesus Christ, it's good enough for them".
There just aren't facepalms enough in the world....
Isn't Brazil the capital of great boob jobs?
And wax jobs! (*ouch*...those hurt even to think about....)
We are hardly a representative sample of the full
population.
_So_ true. (But, lest we forget, in lots of other ways than this.)
