Now, now, Rich, we have to respect our Canadian and UK list members'
sensitivites. That'd be "hexametre". :)
No, we can cope with measuring distances in metres whilst simultaneously
reading both a gas meter and iambic pentameter. It's all good training
for working on engines (and computers) that are held together by
fasteners
whose dimensions are derived from various different systems :-)
