but least for now have something to mount them to thats not smashed got 23
of the switches / holders still more to dig up i think.plus those 8m ones i
found in the mix.
I think the switch footprints are somewhat compatible between the
models, though I'm not sure the rocker mounts are.
if u got advice on the back half of the switches and
safe ways to get those
off /restor that be awsome as well
I don't know about "safe ways", but I did once open the tabs on
the back of one and replace the metal part of the slider with one
from another switch that lacked the rocker mounts. It
was a little
fussy bending everything back "just so".

Which metal part is that? The bezel is cast, and the light guides are
drilled fiberboard. Maybe you mean the switch stabilizer bar(s)?
Or are you thinking of metal instead of plastic for the artwork?
