Well, if you had an automatic wire-wrap jig, the bigger backplane
(well, more of them, really) shouldn't be a big problem.
Some poor sod^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hdedicated soul would have to redraw
the straight-8 schematic into the CAD tools, though.
