WOW! 3100 miles... that's like the max that you could do in the
states. Did you get the system in Maine and drive it to San Diego?

The longest drive I've ever done at a stretch was from Potsdam, NY to
Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. There were four of us
switching off.
