IBM System
III Model 50
I know of no S/3 model 50 - just the 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 15.
Any chance you could describe this machine? S/3s tend to be rather big -
but then they really are just stripped down S/360s.

It was mostly buried, so I couldn't see what it looked like, it was the
size of a large Xerox machine. All I could see was the front, I couldn't
see the top or sides. My memory isn't always the best so I might have the
name wrong. I'd estimate about 5 feet wide, by 4 feet high, and 2-3 feet
deep (note these are really rough estimates).
