The slot in the front is an MO drive, either you need to have a MO with
the OS, or a SCSI drive (or cd) with the OS on the chain.
Alternatively, you could install a *bsd on it,

OK I connected all the pieces and fired it up, I get a

clear grey screen then a testing system message appears and
stays there.
Does the CD-ROM need a caddy or it the slot in the front for
a optical drive?
