It was functional 6 mos. ago but now only the HD
light flashes when
the power switch is pressed.

I could not locate the component that was causing

It has only been minimally disassembled.

I am also setting aside a "Zeos notebook 386" (16Mhz
386sx, 5MB RAM,
20MB HD).

It ran OS/2 2.1 perfectly back in 1993 and currently
has SCO Unix 3.2.4
loaded.
There are no PCMCIA slots in this notebook.
