Amen to that. From a hobbyist interfacing standpoint, there is quite a
bit of HW nwoledge needed to handle USB devices, ignoring the
programming aspects.
Consistency demands that I not reject USB, but I do hope none of the
older interface standards die out, because many of them are easier to
understand from the beginner's perspective.
