Is it doing that? I read "sampling" as sampling the digital signal. 100MHz
ADCs tend to be expensive and hot (not always hot, depending). I don't know anything
about the DiscFerret hardware (I should probably look it up), but I imagine 100MHz is the
digital sampling frequency, which is perfectly normal for a logic-analyzer-type device.
