is likely to be source listings (ie the
assembler/compiler output after assembling/compiling the actual
source code), at least that's what I have. [...]
For many purposes, of
course, that's just as good, maybe even better.
If you really want to rebuild the system yourself, you'll need
implementations of a whole pile of different languages anyway.
