I don't remember if it mutated into AOL, but there
once was a
service called QuantumLink that sold branded network services
such as AppleLink and AmigaLink and probably a few more "Links".
Q-Link or Quantum link came first for the C64 and then was expanded to
include the Apple II
I still have the original 5-1/4 Q-Link disk.
