Oh man - that sucks! I think I'd have his... jewels... or something.
I don't think you want to know what it was worth. I was out-bid on
one of these by a gentleman from Japan a few months ago on E-bay. The
final bid was somewhere over $306. I wanted it pretty bad, but he
collects watches and he wanted it worse. Seemed like a nice guy.

I recently lost a piece of my computer collection.
I had a BRAND NEW never worn Seiko wrist terminal from the ealry 80's that
downloaded phonelists, etc via the game port in an Apple II. I entrusted it to a jwewler
for repair and he has lost it. I still have the origional box, software, etc. Anybody have
an idea of the value of this piece?

If it was "BRAND NEW never worn" why was it entrusted to a
"jwewler for repair"? That would bother me if I cared.
Never being an Apple owner, it would never have any value for me,
and the price I would offer would be quite low -- as I always try
to get the price down to the value something has to me -- remember,
|value is what it is worth to _the buyer_, price is what _the seller_|
|wants for it -- as soon as they intersect the deal is made.|
