I'll have to look. But, I don't think this board has sockets.
I believe it has 4 banks of soldered in 64k chips.
If this is a real IBM XT mainboard (with 8 slots and no cassette port),
that would be most unusual (note that the modification I described only
applies to real IBN XT mainboards).
But if that is the case, I'd just grab a solder sucker and desolder banks
0 and 1 and fit turned-pin sockets in place of them.
