Like it too.
I've repaired several old computers (no PDP8) and it is always fascinating
to read such blogs. I know "mass dead effects" of several TTL chips too,
specially russian chips in plastic case are the sources for failure. They
like it to get to high impedance at the outputs. Nothing wrong with russian
chips in ceramic housings...
