Somehow, I was stuck on the notion that this was a
seven cut key.
That sounds very reasonable and correct for a six cut key.
I Also thought that. But I got a key and saw just 6 slots. Went to
wikipedia and now I know there are 6 and 8 slotted keys. So it SEEMS to be
reasonable the code is the depth of the cuts. I'm not a locksmith so I
cannot confirm this info now.
