I can see that.
But, with that kind of response, I'm not sure that I would bother asking
them about other platform support. They do what they do, and don't have
an obligation to take on additional projects.
On the other hand, if they were to offer an extensive API for writing your
own alternate programs, they just might end up with code for other
platforms.
