I've never looked too closely at the economics of photocopying, but it's going to cost 4-5p per page (assuming that the cost of home printing on a laser printer is any guide). In which case I'd guess that it's almost the same cost to go to a high street copying emporium and have them scan it properly straight to a PDF. (I'd offer to bring a sheet-feed scanner along and scan it in your presence, but no doubt someone at work would notice its absence :-)) One of these days someone will throw out a decent scanner with sheet feed that fits in the boot of a car ...
