Considering that Mac OS X has terminal emulators that
(presumably) can emulate a VT100, why didn't you just use those?
No Mac machines here, or at least no OS-X class ones.
The original question was for a PC/Win platform.
The best solution so far seems be to give up on Win and go PC/Linux.
