Due to the inability of more one individual to
follow up on 'firm'
commitments, I must now dispose of a Honeywell DPS-6 mainframe and
matching 9Trk tape drive.
Erk! Do you have an OS or documentation with that? What about
drives? Sadly Doc's and the OS are what seem to be far rarer than
the systems themselves.
Try to convince Sellam he needs it for spares. Thankfully I don't
have room, or I'd actually be almost tempted.
A emulator actually exists for the DPS-6. We used it to run
production GCOS-6 software on HP9000/750's running HP-UX (either 7 or
8, I can't remember). Of course the odds of anyone getting there
hands on it are probably slimmer than getting ahold of the OS.
