I'm running an older NetBSD on my HP9000/360 only because it was the only OS I could
get running on it. I don't have the monitor/keyboard/mouse and I don't have a
working disk drive to use with it and I was able to get NetBSD to boot over the network
from my Linux server. I'd much rather have HPUX running, but I'm pretty sure you
still need to purchase a license from HP in order to install it, and I have no idea if it
can even be installed to netboot.
I do have a 7957 drive with an ESDI hard drive in it, but when I power it up it the fault
light turns on. I don't know if there's anything I can do to diagnose it further,
the only HPIB computers I have are the 9000/360 and a couple of HP150s. I don't have
any ESDI controller cards that go in a PC.
