On another note, the 880S8 seems to be dead, but I don't know if it is
the drive or the electronics. The Q-bus controller is fine, as is the
cable, as they run the D30 just fine. So I am looking for either a good
drive or a good S8 box to test with. Anything like that in the group of
units you were talking about?
I've recently acquired a DSD880S8, but I'm not sure what condition it's in
(it's probably just fine, but I got it surplus from my 'suplier'). I'd
be
willing to offer it to you, but I don't know its condition. Is there a
way to test it out using the "HyperDiagnostics" panel on the front of the
enclosure?
