Australia is already the most arid landmass and it's only going to get
worse. New Zealand might be all right. I suspect it may see mass
emigration from Aus, get armed to the teeth to defend itself from the
people fleeing the south-eastern PacRim. But then there will be a
whole mess of conflict around Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Borneo
and so on - NZ might be remote enough to be all right for a good
while.
Will Apple be the developer of the iTelescreen?
Only after they develop and successfully patent the interocitor and
the ansible. :?)
