That would be great if it were borne out in practice--i.e. there
really was competition for the most reliable product. In fact, most
of the smaller parts are commodities, produced by a third party firm
that probably holds a major market share. Much the same situation
obtains in the automotive market; how many makes does NipponDenso
supply controls for?
