No--you're right. There was an ISA-like slot in it. Same connector
anyway but not the same signaling. There were few PC plugins that
worked in the slot. Only simple stuff like serial and parallel ports
but nothing with memory (such as a video card) or that required DMA
(like a hard drive) would work in the slot. Nicely done... but,
in those days, we were all still learning and so it took a few years
and several hundred machines before we knew what hit us.
