Could you quantify "lame"? I used a 386sx-16 for years and it was
always faster (visibly, not just via benchmarks) than the 12MHz 286 I
had access to. If you're going to claim a 12Mhz 286 was faster than a
16MHz 386sx you'll have to provide some evidence...
