FORMAT A: was a good use for them.
Did that, and have since found that when I go to use them I have to
format 'em again, though surprisingly I'm not seeing bad sectors like I am
with some of the "brand name" floppies I also have around.
Got plenty of 'em left, too, even this many years later.
