At the time that the IMPs were made of Honeywell 516s, the
TIPs were
made of the less ruggedized (but software compatible, right?) 316s.
I know that NORSAR-TIP was "returned" - presumably to BBN - sometime in
the 80s - at least a few years after the conversion to TCP/IP.
Anyone got one? CHM maybe?
I'd be surprised
if CHM didn't have at least one.
