The single-screw bracket with no other retention
allows for cards to
pop out of their slots and receive very little in the way of coolig
is just plain wrong, even if it is cheap.
At least IBM procided a hold-down bracket (and a guide for the front edge
of full-length cards). Unlike the Apple ][ where te expansion cards were
supported by the edge conenctor only, and could wobble and break contact.
