I do have a scanning digital camera. actually. And it's on-topic here.
It's got a linear CCD (I can't remember the resolution, around 2000
pixrls, I think) that's tracked across the frame on a leadscrew. it takes
Nikon (35mm SLR) lenses. And it interfaces to a classic PERQ (yes, I have
the interface card and software). One day I must get it working. Of
course a classic PERQ is not exactlu portable, and the resolution (I
would guess about 6 megapixels) was spectacular for the early 1980s, but
not very good today.

I didn't, the minilab did :-)
