I've always been more of a K'nex fan. The robotics stuff isn't quite as
good (though I do have one of the robot kits), but I prefer the
structural cohesion of k'nex. You can make much bigger models without
the sheer bulk pulling it apart.
The CAD stuff for LEGOs is pretty cool. Lots of free stuff available for
documenting designs. Maybe they can be used for K'nex too, but I don't
know.
