suspect they just google images and grab ones for what they are selling.
For something as common as a vt420 it's probably not a huge deal. People
use stock photos all the time on ebay and it doesn't make the auction
fraudulent. However, taking someone else's photographs for commercial
use is actually illegal. You could make him take them down or demand you
be given credit. I never cared enough to bother though.
Lifting pictures, and
using other people's pictures as if they were "stock
photos" could well be simple laziness.
But SERIAL NUMBER?
Looks like he just put it in with the model by mistake. The question I
have is that I thought vt420's only came with LK401 keyboards? Your
picture is of a vt420 with a vt220 keyboard right ? If you bought this
would you get the lk201 or the lk401 ?
