No kidding. DEC FS had this hand-held terminal that
was
powered off of a jack next to the DB-25. I've seen pictures
but never seen one in use.
I have a thingie here called a DEC-VT12, from 1982.
It's a Termiflex with two-line LED alphanumeric display,
about 2.5x the size of a cellphone.
I can put up a picture for those interested.
