VAXen (and Sun
boxes) want 512-byte sectors (or, rather, something
that emulates 512-byte sectors). If it boots a bootable OpenVMS CD
then it's comaptible :-)
Oh dear. That's the best way to tell?
Is there any incantation I can type at the firmware monitor
to tell me if it "sees" a device as a CD-ROM? Or is being
seen as a CD no guarantee?
SHOW DEVICE will tell you what it sees on the bus, but that's
probably just whatever shows up in the SCSI ID. It's probably
not until you try to boot that an incompatibility would show up.
