Anti-aliasing I suspect would be the problem with
Vector to raster
displays.
The picture tubes themselves aren't different from the
raster scan monitors. The yokes and deflection
circuits are what's different. I do believe that there
are some aftermarket deflection boards available
intended to repair the abysmal Ampliphone color vector
monitors used in some Atari vector games.
