Thanks much. I think I found the mating plugs I need on the te.com site and digikey has
them.

They are called Commercial Mate-n-lok.? Company is called TE-Connectivity nowadays.
Later on DEC used Universal Mate-n-lok. For example in the VAX-11/750.
