It's a drop-in replacement with improved power consumption,
so there's not a lot of reason to keep the other ones in
production at this point.
The MC68SEC000 is a drop-in replacement for the MC68EC000, but not
necessarily for the non-EC parts, because the EC and SEC use two-signal bus
arbitration (BR/BG) like the 48-pin MC68008, rather than three-signal
(BR/BG/BGACK) like the MC68000, MC68HC000, and MC68HC001.
And that it's not available in all of the packages the MC68000 was.
