There really is no reason that web pages have to be so
all-consuming.
Designers seem to think that we want to be overloaded with visual
sensations. Personally, I would much rather get the info I need, and not be
pestered with ads and garbage.
Hear hear. I hate this "visual noise" generation that we seem to be mired
in.
