that didn't take long. congrat's (1/2 point off for misspelling
calisthenics). I have vol's 4 & 5 of the compendium which cover 1979 and
1980.
1980 issues were big on Apple II, Northstar, CP/M, UCSD pascal and of
course source code for Ron Cain's original "small C" for the 8080.
in '79 i see references to the 6800 microprocessor, KIM, COSMAC and other
early SBC's, PROM burning, SWTPC, Z80 disassembler, etc.
fun stuff.

Peering through the haze of long lost memories (delay line and core)
I see a title something like:
Dr. Dobbs Journal of Computer Calesthnics [sp?] and Orthodontia:
Running Light without Overbyte
To my great regret, though, I don't own any copies from back then.
