There are a total of six pins used on the CRT.
Clearly, two of these are for the heater supply. If it's magnetic
deflection, via the coils on the neck of the CRT, what would the other
four connections at the end of the CRT be?
Cathode is another. Then you have at least two electrodes to accelerate and focus the
electron beam. So depending on the structure of the electron gun system, you?d see 5 or 6
pins in use.
