Not that I've ever
gotten Ultrix up and running on my DECstation 5000/133 (it was purchased to
run NetBSD).
Ultrix is faster, but since that is (a) a monolith (compared to the
Mach microkernel-based OSF/1) and (b) OSF/1 in itself is a lot more
"heavy", I think that could be expected. On the DS2100, it looks
like the 24MB is more of an issue than the CPU speed.
BTW, you've gotten me thinking, does Tru64 V5
support LAT? If so I just
might have to play around with setting up a spare box to run Tru64.
