I've seen websites dedicated to arts/crafts useing
AOL cd's as the main
component. One even made a full-size Christmas tree!
Years ago at the Consumer Electronics Show one of the big CD wholesaler or
manufacturers had a hanging array of reject CDs, a cube of 20x20x20, very
flashy.
