Don't know about that, but doesn anyone remember Victor suing an East
Coast electronics retailer that had used that name for 20 years ?
Granted, the part of Victor that made the Comptometer and dictation
machines had been around for a long time, but the lawsuit was a waste
of investor capital and was ridiculous. As I recall, a settlement
was reached with the guy where Victor funded some of the cost of
changing the guy's DBA name.
