Yep... My wife is very happy with her laptop .. PIII, 500Mhz 15" TFT etc.
Not a bad machine, even for running Windows. I got it free from a customer
because it had been dropped, had been for repair, and was "not
repairable". They asked me if it was safe to just stick it in the bin.. !!!
All that was wrong was the plastic around the hinges had broken, making the
top loose, and the hard drive had crashed. Even the screen had
survived. A bit of glue and some extra strengthening, a new hard drive,
and it's absolutely fine.
