We've been using Syjets and Sparqs for a year, although we have not had any
one drive last that long. I've been expecting Syquest to go bankrupt
for a year. I was seriously tempted to sell short on Syquest stock. I
could have made a killing. (The problem with selling short is that if you
guess wrong, your potential loss is unbounded.)
If we were doing something wrong to them, why would they keep replacing
them under warranty?
I seriously doubt that anyone has used their SyJet and Sparq drives
"for many years with no problems."
