The *cough* website I looked at listed specific resolutions for each
(including NTSC). Perhaps the site had some misleading information? (don't
ask for an URL, it's been too long)

AFAIR the SECAM system used in the Eastern bloc countries is slightly
different from the French system, and doesn't quite interoperate -- ie
still no colour if you view one system's output on the other systems

I'm pretty sure they're the same in practice -- and in any case neither
PAL nor SECAM mandate the resolution, only the colour coding.
