I could not figure it out from the printset: The CPU was definitively
running
when the machine went dead. Because the seven segment mux worked. You can see
the CPU stop on power-down. And the seven segment display mux is done via CPU
which can be seen in the schematics.
It's the firmware that shows this odd behaviour.
