That sure would make an interesting drive :) If it could be pulled off cheap
enough, it would be well worth it, too.
But when one platter ate its head and is making Bad Noises,
you have to replace the "drive" anyhoo, removing 1bad+1good
platter from the RAID system. Where's the gain there?
Plus yet another specialized device, I'd rather use OTS
junk drives and buy more of them.
